Out of twelve foreing nationals that have been conferred decoratons of the highest rank for spring 2018, apart from Ambassador and former Foreign Minister of the Republic of Serbia H.E. Mr. Ivan Mrkić the ceremony was attended by Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia Mr. Khalid A. Al-Falih and Chairman of Korea-Japan Economic Association Mr. Yoon Kim

Following the ceremony, a cocktail was held at the Embassy with distinguished Japanese participants, including President of the Japan - Serbia Parlamentary Friendship League H.E. Mr. Ichiro Aisawa, former UN Secretary-General's Personal Representative for the war in the former Yugoslavia Mr. Yasushi Akashi, Honorary Consul General of Serbia in Osaka Mr. Naohide Ueyama, former Ambassador of Japan to Serbia Mr. Toshio Tsunozaki and his spouse Mrs. Etsuko Tsunozaki, Vice President of the Japan Serbia Society Mr. Osamu Hirashita and others.
