On 11 October Serbian monuments inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List were presented at the Embassy for about 60 invitees from UNESCO associations which have their offices in various municipalities of Tokyo.

Embassy representatives Mr. Chihaya Oyaizu and Ms. Tijana Nagato held a presentation on the Studenica Monastery, Stari Ras and Sopocani, Medieval Monuments in Kosovo, Gamzigrad-Romuliana and Stećci Medieval Tombstones – as a regional cultural good, and Kolo (circular folk dance) and Slava (celebration of family patron saint) as UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage. On this occasion, the invitees could see a panel with photographs and their descriptions in Japanese.
The musical segment of the programme featured the performance of Ms. Etsuko Tsunozaki on violin and Ms. Rika Fukuda on piano, both waring the traditional Serbian costumes and playing music pieces from central and southern Serbia, while Ambassador Nenad Glisic joined them on the guitar for the rendition of 'Tamo daleko' and 'Jesenje lišće' (link with video)

The invitees had the opportunity to taste Serbian dishes prepared and presented by Yuriko Aoki, while the event also announced the book about the Balkan cuisine in Japanese by Jelena Jeremić. Serbian wines available on the Japanese market were also presented.
