The biggest international art event in Japan Art Fair Tokyo 2019 held in Tokyo in the program World Art Tokyo presented works of artists from 31 countries recommended by their embassies in cooperation with organisers. From Serbia the work of Marijana Anđelić "Lepo hodi"  (mineral pigments on Japanese paper washi) was presented.

In the catalogue of the exhibition Ambassador Nenad Glišić expressed his suport for the arist who explores Japanese painting technique while painting Serbian landsacpes, thus finding the unexpected connection between the two cultures. 

Ms. Anđelić currently lives in Japan. She completed her doctoral studies at the Japanese painting department at Tokyo University of the Arts and has participated in numerous exhibitions in Serbia and Japan in techniques such as Japanese painting, mosaic and printmaking.
